Late Spring in the Yosemite High Country

The Dana Fork of the Tuolumne River winding its way down from its twin guardians, Mt. Dana (l) and Mt. Gibbs (r), as clouds cross the sky, throwing shadows across the landscape. If you look closely, you can see a lone fisherman trying his luck in the recently thawed waters of this subalpine river 9,500 feet (2895 m) up in the Sierras.
