All Lines Lead to Lava Lake

One of many beautiful lakes in the volcanic landscape of Oregon's central Cascade Range, just southwest of Bend along the appropriately named "Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway." And the planks in that pier are pointing across the lake to the tallest mountain in the area (and Oregon's third highest): South Sister (10,358 ft [3,157 m]).
