Moody Skies Over Medieval Telemark

The Eidsborg stave church is one of the best-preserved of all the Norwegian medieval stave churches. It was built between 1250 and 1300 AD, and contains various paintings and murals from the Renaissance and the 17th century. A real gem tucked away in a remote corner of Telemark county, in the mountains of south-central Norway.
