Lassen Meadows

Lassen Peak, just after the snow has melted from its high-altitude meadows. The southernmost volcano in the Cascade Range, 10,457 ft (3,187 m) above sea level, Lassen was the only other peak in the range besides Mt. St. Helens to erupt in the 20th century.
