Norwegian Summer Blue & Gold

Puffy white clouds crossing deep blue skies above golden fields at Birkenes Kirke, in the southern Norwegian county of Aust-Agder. The church is constructed of wood, seats 650, and was built in 1858. This is one of the most fertile and temperate parts of Norway, with a strong agricultural tradition and all kinds of wonderful little out-of-the-way spots like this basking in the summer sun.

Camera: Olympus OM-D E-M5

12mm (24mm full frame FOV), ISO 200, f/8, 1/160 sec., Hoya circular polarizer, single RAW file, hand held.
