Hawaiian Black-Crowned Night-Heron [Explored]

I saw this handsome bird down by the water at Honolulu's Ala Moana Beach. There were several others strutting around in their juvenile plumage, but this more mature individual definitely stole the show. Even the pigeons in the area seemed to have their eye on him. I'm sure they were jealous.
