Duckwater Sunset
I'm back in Nashville now. Here's a shot of a male mallard in the colorful reflecting waters of Radnor Lake at sunset. The biggest challenge for this image was holding still long enough to catch the shot, as the park closes at dark and I had to high-tail it out of there to make sure I didn't get locked in.
Camera: Olympus OM-D E-M5
Lens: Olympus Zuiko 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 ED (regular four-thirds mount w/adaptor)
300mm (600mm full frame FOV), ISO 1000, f/5.6, 1/200 sec., hand-held.
Yes, hand-held at three times the usual focal length limit – thanks to the OM-D's fantastic five-axis in-body stabilization.
Thanks for stopping by, everyone, and I hope you have a great weekend!
