The glomerulus shows moderate mesangial hypercellularity (M) and an adhesion to Bowman’s capsule (open arrow). There is marked tubular atrophy (AT) that is accompanied by interstitial fibrosis and mild interstitial inflammation. Mild acute tubular injury (T), consisting of tubular dilatation and attenuation of tubular epithelium is also present.
