International Portrait Day
On June 26th 2019, I woke up with my head badly spinning. I went to go down the staircase to go to the toilet and I needed to use the banister. I was all over the place but was thinking it was something to do with the take away food I had which I was sick from a couple of days previous. I was going to try sleep it off thinking I would be ok but saw Jim online on WhatsApp. I messaged him telling him what the problem was and he knew straight away what was wrong and what was going to happen to me. He was in the medical car and said he would drive over. He kept telling me to message him so I did. He got over and took my blood pressure and took it again and said I needed an ambulance. I went to hospital and they done a lot of tests on me. Luckily I was OK bit they took a while to get my blood pressure down which was sky high. I missed out on having a stroke thanks to Jim and I'm extremely grateful.
