Gullfoss

Possibly the most iconic of Iceland's watefalls, Gullfoss is the main attraction on the Golden Circle that includes Geysir, Faxi, Thingvellir National Park, and numerous other stops and short hikes.

 

One thing that I loved about Iceland is how close they let you get to nature. The trail takes you right up to the edge and you can feel the power of the falls.
