337/365 - Our Daily Challenge - "A symbol":

The evergreen tree was first used by the pagans at the Feast of Winter Solstice as a sign that winter would end. The Christmas tree comes to us from Germany. Martin Luther is credited with being inspired by the starry heavens one night, and expressing his feelings to his family by bringing a fir tree into his home, and attaching lighted candles to its branches. The lighted tree reminds us that Jesus is the light of the world and the star atop of the Star of Bethlehem.

I'm thankful the challenge was posted a little early again, as I have a busy day tomorrow and was hoping to put something up quickly. I decided to get out of my macro and bokeh box for a change and shoot wide angle/small aperture/long exposure.

Better on black....hit L if you have time.
