281/365 - Our Daily Challenge - "Through a hole":

 

OK...technically not a hole and instead through glass....but I've seen these shots before and always wanted to try one. And it looks like it's through a hole, right? lol... I notice John did something similar today, but I shot this before I saw that and don't have time to change it now anyway. That said, this was a little challenging for me. I had to hold the aperture blades open using sticky tack and it didn't really want to stay. So, there are things I would probably like to try changing on this, but it was just too much trouble to deal with the blades closing repeatedly. My students will be arriving shortly...so I'm off! Hope you all are having a good day and I'll catch up with you in comments tonight!

 

I'd appreciate your opinion on something. Does this seem too dark to you? Sometimes, I process and think things look good on my monitor...then I upload and they seem too dark. We have extreme cloud cover today too, so my light is not what it usually is.
