This time of year, when the school buses start rolling through the neighborhood again, reminds me of my own school days. I STILL get excited seeing a brand new box of crayons with all the points sharp and no broken pieces. Oh...the possibilities!

I'm jealous of all the great nature pictures I see in the stream today...all those fresh spring beginnings. We're still at the end of summer here. Everything has burned up from our record setting HOT summer (over 70 days of triple digit temperatures). Fires are still raging in parts of Texas...It's not a time of new beginnings here... at least not outdoors.)
