201/365 - Our Daily Challenge - "Bargain":
This probably doesn't make a very interesting photo, but it's the only bargain I could think of. I'm not much of a bargain hunter, but it's no surprise I love antiques, right? This youth chair was QUITE the bargain! My great aunt only paid $2 for it, disassembled in a gunny sack. She didn't even know if all the parts were there. Sure enough, two spindles were missing, but her husband turned new ones and restored it beautifully. You can see it's had a lot of use over the years...well loved with all those scrapes and scuffs....and I love it. Gives it character. My 30 year old daughter used it as her high chair and now my granddaughter does. No straps or tray... just tie her in with a belt and scoot her up to the table. She loves it too. :)
