Kids will be kids - Australian Magpie juveniles
Best viewed by zooming in to see what these kids were fighting over. Even with all the available grass around them they decided this one blade was the best one in the field.
Watching these two juvenile Australian magpies proved to be very entertaining. As one of there parents left them alone for a few minutes to wander away and look for food, these two kids argued over a blade of grass.
Research has shown they are among the smartest of birds, including demonstrating a remarkable capacity to get tracking devices off fellow members of their species.
Hopefully these two grow up to do their family proud.
