Nap time - Yellow Crowned Night Heron

While on a boat tour in Wakulla Springs State Park, Florida we found the yellow-crowned night heron. Sadly I was not paying attention and just managed to get a couple of images of him.

 

Unlike the black-crowned night heron, which has a worldwide distribution, the yellow-crowned is restricted to the Americas.
