Mother and Child - Wild horse mare and colt

This young wild horse shared a tender moment with his mother.

He will change colors as he ages as grey is a dominant gene in horses.

 

This photograph was taken in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.

 

It is always a privilege and so much fun to find these wild horses and observe how they interact with each other.
