Discharging basmati rice DST_4614

A docker cuts slits in the bottom of the liner bag and as the rice pours out, he removes the retaining carton wall that is held in place with aluminium brackets.

The rice falls through the grid straight onto a conveyor belt which loads it into an inland waterways vessel.

The container is on a tiltframe that will lift one side of the container up to get the last of the rice out of the liner bag.

Small bags of "silica gel" (in front of the docker's left foot) are also in the container to keep the moisture of the rice under control but these bags are retained by the grid.
