Mini shell pasta with a creamy smoked bacon and pea sauce

My substitutions:

- Soy "bacon" bits

- 1 cube vegetable stock

- Sour cream instead of crème fraîche

 

Unfortunately, this dish was edible, but far from spectacular. The fault lies not in Oliver’s recipe, but my soy “bacon” bit substitution, which lacked the fat and proper flavor profile to tie the ingredients together.
