Clockwise from top left. An actual victorian house on Adams Blvd. was used in the series pilot. Charles Addams redrew that house with a Mansard Roof, and gave it a rundown look. In the Hannah Barbera 1970's series, the family travelled in this haunted RV. This painting was used for establishing shots. Note although similar to Charles Addams version of his house, the house looks considerably less run down. The Model of the house used in the new Addams Family TV series, was based on the house Addams drew for the New Yorker.. Thing from the TV series. The Druid Princess was created for the series, but the series was cancelled just as the vehicle was being completed. The family as drawn by Charles Addams.
