Officially noted as RBH 233 (but never carried it), DB's 145 030-3 sits at Magdeburg near the Hbf awaiting its next job.
We saw its last working heading East the day before. It went past Hanover Linden at 12.29 on diesel tanks.
This was one of the DB 145s "leased" to RBH Logistics back in 2018.
RBH has been owned by DB's Cargo division since 2005, so "sales" & :"leases" to RBH are just accounting moves.
145 030-3 (Works No. 33347), was built by Adtranz at Kassel Works and delivered to DB on 02/09/1999.
So it had just reached its 23rd birthday when I photted it.
It was only released a month earlier after its latest full overhaul (REV Unt. 17/08/2022).
Less than half of the original 80 DB Class 145s are still working directly for DB.
The rest are with RBH or 80% DB owned MEG - Mitteldeutsche Eisenbahn.
Both companies get DB hand me downs of some of the older loks DB don't need, or don't want to sell to competing companies.
