Fast forward to today. i will be going back in time later but for now i will be upto date.

 

I popped into the village today to get some wood for the fire. we like to light it over Christmas so i had to get a couple of bags. i also needed to get the gas and electric cards topped up, we still have the pre pay meters as i its tracking what we use better and if we don't have the money we don't put it on the card. It really makes life easier when you have an unstable career like i have.

And so i went to get the cards topped up but the machine wasn't working, was this the sign of things to come. i then walked down to my car to repark it closer to the hardware store. After parking up i went to get the wood. "Can i have two bags of wood please" the guys were really nice and offered to take the wood to my car.

 

"Can i help you to the car madam?" Of course i said yes and i followed him the bags of wood and went to pick one up, the guy said "Its ok i will do it" and with two hands he picked up the bag of wood. i said "i will give you hand" and picked up the same size bag with one hand without any effort lol. when we got to my car i opened the boot and he put his bag in then took the other bag from me and placed it in the boot,

 

What a nice guy and such a gent,

 

Now two things of note about this. One its possible neither of the men realised i was Trans! possible today as i did look and sound the part. Or two. They both realised and being customer focused they treated me the same way as they would a female to the point of helping me even though i didn't need the help.

 

If the later is the case then that speaks volumes about them as people and how much they value customers.

 

It was nice to be treated so nicely.
