So i didn't want to do the whole day of the dead thing just because we get moaned at for cultural appropriation, not like these different cultures haven't stolen our identities or forced our indigenous culture into the shadows by making a mockery out of them!
Ref flower festivals, Morris men, maypole dancing any number of old pagan traditions all have been left uncelebrated in favour or Diwali when we can openly appropriate a culture not ours!
OK i am not against celebrating other cultures in fact i love embracing them hence why i get annoyed by those who scream cultural appropriation when I dress in Asian costume or a white girl wants her hair braided in an African manner etc.
Back to Halloween. and so I went for a subtle little nail in the head and a boil on the cheek at least i could still look like a girl. Wish i had a little longer to make it look more realistic.
