why can't they

Just a little rant frustrated by the inability of the masses to see that being transgender is not a life choice for a large number of us but a glitch in natures system that makes us different.

Jeremy Clarkson has written some article that is moaning about the amount of attention the trans community is getting at the moment and using inflammatory terms like ladyboy to describe us and implying our problem is down to bad parenting amongst other things.

Now this man isn't to be taken seriously but he did get a reaction. first from those who support us and support the right of minorities to have a life without fear.

And then a major reaction from the non PC brigade who seem to think it's ok to have freedom of speech even if its offensive to someone, it then spirals into the anti GAY/ lesbian rants followed by the usual if your born a boy you will always be a boy regardless of what you! type comments These then turn to god fearing we will burn in eternal damnation because we are freaks of nature. As long as I can do the burning bit in a pretty dress I ain't bothered.

Its a shame we can't just all live and let live and why can't they understand most of us didn't chose this condition nature chose it for us? But then that's most of the problem because their is no room for the unpredictable world of nature in a perfect world apparently made by a god in his attic to escape doing the washing up!

The one thing the haters always state is the high level of suicides amongst the trans community both post and pre op. they seem to use these stats to prove we have a mental illness.

Have they ever thought that feeling the way we do against everything we have ever been taught takes its toll? as does the lose of friendships, the being disowned by family, being treated as an outcast, not being able to do simple task for fear of causing offence, using restrooms for instance. and the biggest killer of them all the feeling of complete and utter isolation.

I would love a so called normal person to have to experience the emotional rollercoaster some girls have to ride.

Fortunately I am lucky most of the above doesn't apply it still annoys me that people can be so hateful about something they know nothing about.

I still cannot work out why we are feared! Other than we can make a straight man question his sexuality lol

Rant over :-)
