seal-pup

A harbor seal pup, who's mom has gone 'grocery shopping', has a little run-in with a crevice: It got its flipper stuck. But, with a bit of tugging, the flipper came loose. Then the bellowing continued. Typical kid.

The Marine Mammal Center says, "Leave Seals Be".

But if you see a seal that you believe to be in distress, or a dolphin or porpoise or whale - report it. On the central California coast call 415-289-SEAL. They also take calls about sea turtles, sea otters, and dead marine mammals if you are unsure of which agency to contact.
