The DryHootch bus was parked next to Holton Hall as part of “Boots On Campus”, a free event at the University of Wisconsin−Milwaukee held on Nov. 10, 2009. The session highlighted results of a study looking at the daily life challenges of 30 young veterans and was presented by Heidi Plach, clinical instructor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at UWM’s College of Health Sciences, seen here with Joseph Mitchell (l) and Bryan Brandt (r). Also part of the presentation was DryHootch, a new, nonprofit local organization working with veterans.
