Blobs

Erosion by water, ice and wind carves all sorts of unlikely rock formations in this area. The darker sandstone in these formations is Entrada sandstone, while the lighter base underneath is Navajo sandstone. The latter is often referred to as "slickrock", although it isn't really slick. But it is smooth, more or less.
