Max Day 10 July 20

It was a very eventful day. We had a quiet morning and headed to the boat to get there at 10:30. We had not gone very far before we heard lightning. This was very alarming for Max. By the time we got to the intercostal waterway, we could see that there was a storm in the distance. Max was very concerned. With this, we decided to return to shore an put the boat up for the day. Then we all went to lunch at the "Salty Dog," a place on Lido Key that Ted and the kids go to everytime they come to Sarasota. Max ate fried shrimp, even though he had no idea what is was when they brought it to the table! The kids all (eventually) ate there dogs. Then we went to the beach for an hour. It was 13:00 and very hot, so Max stayed under the cover while we played. Peter cut his arm and decided to join him. Ted and Caroline went for a very long walk while Tim took the kids home. Max was taking a nap, so Ted took off to play some golf. It was very hot and there were thunderstorms in the area, but he managed to get in 18 holes in just over 2 hours. Then we all went out for diner and came home for a swim.
