Had to show these two tops together because I think they're a good value & color progression comparison, since they use the same colors and, actually, many of the same fabrics. The one on the left uses both value and color progression to form the one design with a very strong focal point. The one on the right uses value in the background with the color progression in sort of an overlay to form a more multi directional design. Piecing is so great because it never seems to get boring :)
