T-Yellow and White Log Cabin
These logs finish at one inch and the quilt is a double bed size. I love a totally scrappy Log Cabin, but in this one I used my yellows in more of a grouping placement. I was thinking of some of the vintage quilts where it appeared that the quilt maker had just obtained a piece of fabric and quickly put it into her quilt. I can just picture a pioneer woman saying to her husband, "Oh, John, what a pity...I believe your shirt is worn out! I guess I'll have to take it and put it in my quilt." She doesn't smile until she turns away with the shirt in hand :)
