* was born 29 Dec 1883 in Stöde, Vasternorrland, Sweden as were her parents and sister Bertha.

* She immigrated as a child of three and a half along with: her newborn sister, Birta, who was born 29 Jun 1887; her father, Eric Petter born 17 May 1865; and her mother, Ingburg Marta Påhlsdotter (whose father's last name was apparently Ericson), who was born 12 Nov 1862.

* ERIC PETTER BERGNER's travel visa issued to permit travel from Stöde was issued on 29 Jul 1887. They left Sweden for America via: Göteborg, Sweden; Liverpool, England; and Queenstown, Ireland. They arrived ; the Port of New York; and settled for a time in Atkinson, Nebraka. They travelled on the SS "Alaska" rriving in New York 15 Aug 1887.

They also have a lodger, who travelled with them from Sweden, by the name of Charles Lucwick b 5 Oct 1862.

They had 2 horses, 8 milk cows and 2 hogs; George had 4 cattle and Freda had 4 cattle. Residence S22 T41 R22 M4.

* 1911 Lamerton, Alberta Household 1026: Freda appears as a widow along with her three children listed as Lawrence, Amy and George. Freda is listed as domestic in the household of Charles Ludwig (Ludwick, their family friend).
