We've got a house guest visiting later this week and Darek's Mom & Dad will be visiting the week after. I'm trying to get the guess room clean for the visit...but it's hard to do when memories of Jerry's & my past years jump out in front of me. I'm going to let my Flickr friends know what is going on because I've been holding it in for a while and need to let it out. I ask that my Flickr friends that are also my Facebook friends not say anything about this on Facebook.
About 2 weeks ago Jerry decided that he couldn't live with the pain his body is putting him through. He took himself off dialysis and chemo therapy and has signed up with Hospice. I've gone from being a care giver that is trying to keep him comfortable while he lives to a care giver trying to keep him comfortable while he dies. I am not happy, but I have to respect his wishes.
I just got a call from our houseguest that was suppose to be here tomorrow or the next day and he's about an hour away...I guess I'll go do a quick cleaning!!!
