Week 2, Day 1: "Fall of The Roman Empire"
After spending some time going over the results of our latest experiment, I left the lab to deal with a small matter in Little Italy. Before I left, Dr. Klein briefed me on what to expect there. The place was under the control of someone the locals called “The Roman”. Apparently this scumbag used to run Gotham’s organized crime, with politicians and even the previous police commissioner under his influence. His empire came crumbling down during Batman’s early days of crime-fighting. I decided to pay this “Roman” a visit. I flew and hovered by his window. The Roman was talking to his goons about a shipment, when I decided to intervene.
In my best Batman gravely voice imitation I say, “It is best if you stay out of this war, Roman. I would hate to see you make a decision... you’d truly regret... later.”
The Roman, stood from his chair barking orders as he rushed towards the exit like a bat out of hell. His goons opened fire at me. One of them, who seemed to be the smart one of the two, noticed I had begun to “prep” my heat vision and ran for his life. The other idiot continued to empty his clip on me not realizing I wasn't Batman. I used my heat vision to finally scare him off. I tell The Roman to stop trying to get a grip on his once-powerful empire and let go. Unless he wanted me to really start making his life “uncomfortable”.
