Shattuck Family Gravesite, Colt Station Pennsylvania
This is the oldest Known family cemetery in Erie County.
Joseph Shattuck , Revolutionary War Veteran buried here in 1813
His tombstone was replaced with a new granite marker about ten years ago via the veterans admin.
All other markers belonging to his family members ( some of whom spelled their name Shadduck) are still the originals.
The stoned were found fallen, partially buried and covered with grass about fifteen years ago and were restored by Two Eagle Scouts as part of their projects in 2003 and 2007.
Currently the site is being maintained by Scout Troop 17, Lawrence Park Pa.
