Pants

The Midi caused much confusion at its introduction. Many women chose to wear pants and pants suits instead of to trying to deal with the controversial hemline issue.

Some even wore their old Mini dresses with pants underneath as an alternative. It was the beginning of the end for the mini in any case. Legs were out whether covered by pants or later in long skirts. Times have to change.

In today's world, pants prevail over skirts.
