Sticks and Stones

This is from my third try at shooting in area where there was a recent scrub fire. It's part of a series I'm starting - Wizards. Three hours on Saturday yielded results I was Ok with, but I left a mirror behind and had go back for it this morning in pouring rain. It meant all the ash and rocks would be glistening wet. I knew the set up for the shot and it didn't take long, but the lens got wet, creating blotches and out of focus areas, which added something - an out of control element.

 

I had the knives with me and I shot the red sky a couple of mornings ago.
