Mouth of Resurrection Creek & Beyond

The good news is, this past Friday was a great day to take photos and to fly Son of Drony Baloney (DJI MINI 3). The bad news is that Saturday evening, which was not nearly as nice of a day, SODB was lost. I've had three 'events' since I started flying drones in '21. In two of those, I was able to locate and recover my drone. Once in deep snow. Not so yesterday. Fortunately Drony Baloney (DJI MINI 2) is still here. I ordered a replacement for SODB. Also, every time I launch, the drone stops about seven feet above grade and the home point is updated. That's where I check the controls to make sure everything is working as I think it should. Then we launch. Saturday, I did not do that. Lessons learned...

One more thing, before flying, always check to see that your propeller screws are tight. And use some Loc-Tight on the screws. I think that possibly a propeller came off.
