Spectre spectators

Snow-capped mountain neinei (Dracophyllum traversii) trees gather on the side of the Mt Arthur track like a group of ghostly spectators.

 

Seen on the popular walking track up Mt Arthur, the main peak of the Kahurangi Range near Nelson at the top of New Zealand's spectacular South Island.
