Diversity Amidst Disparity
During my last visit to India, I was enthralled by the diversity this land has to offer. The vivid colors, the aroma of flavors, the richness of the culture, and its mesmerizing heritage. My eyes, however, kept longing to witness this diversity amidst the truth of disparity. For some, even the warmth of the riches fail to suffice, while others struggle to earn a meal a day. As this street vendor prepares for his daily earnings selling 'chaat,' his silence echoes the struggle of the common man.
