Planting Milkweed for Monarchs

On Friday, July 1, 2016, volunteers joined The Parklands' garden and natural areas teams to plant 400 Milkweed plants awarded by the Monarch Watch program. The plants are a valuable addition to what is already a richly, diverse landscape. It is our hope that the large scale planting will be a benefit to migrating butterflies and many other pollinating species. Learn more at www.theparklands.org/blog.
