Ms Bernadette Braganza, wife of pioneer of Konkani film-making Al Jerry Braganza of Mapusa, was felicitated by the Dalgado Konknni Academy at the ESG in Panjim on April 24, 2008, on the occasion of Konkani Film Day. The marks the release of the first Konkani movie "Mogacho Anvddo" which was produced by Al Jerry Braganza in 1950 in Bombay. Bernadette is flanked by her relatives - Agnelo Branganza from Ansa Bhatt in Mapusa.
