NY Body Painting '2015

In its 2nd year, New York Body Painting Day, was held today July 18, at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza (47th St. between 2nd and 1st Ave.) It is a free public art event created by Andy Golub, celebrating body painting as a unique art form and promotes artistic expression, body acceptance and human connection through art.

75 artists will paint 100 fully nude models of all shapes and sizes with the theme 'What the World Needs Now...'.

The idea of painting the eyelids is pure creativity, and kudos to this model to play with it. One moment he opens his eyes and the next, he closes to show the painted eyes. When I first saw him, he was with his eyes closed, and I thought for a moment he had on some green contact lenses.
