To the reviving memory of William Wheately Esq., And Martha Skinner his wife and Anthony Wheately esq and Anne Armiger his wife and Also of Meriall Coke late wife of John Coke of Holkham in the country of Norfolke esq the fourth sonne of the Right Honourable Sir Edward Coke knight later Cheife Judge of the County of Comon Pleas and afterward Cheife Judge of the Kinges Bench and one of his Majs Privie Councell by Brigett Paston one of the coheiers to John Paston esq her father, and the said Meriall Coke was sole daughter and heire of Anthony Wheateley esq by Anne Armiger his wife and the said Anthony was the sonne of William Wheately esq late prothonotary in the court of Comon Please (by Martha Skinner daughter of Anthony Skynner of Warwickshire esq) and the said Anne Armiger wife of the said Anthony was one of the daughters of William Armiger the elder late of North Creak in Norfolke esq by Anne Mansuer his wife sole sister and heire of Richard Mansuer esq her brother.

Her loving husband John Coke esq (to whome she gave six sonnes and nine daughters and lyeth here buryed) erected monument to her memory

shee dyed the 4th July in the yeare 1636.
