Here lies buried the most virtuous Lady Catherine Graham wife of Sir Richard Graham of Netherby in the county of Cumberland, knight and bart daugher of Thomas Musgrove of Cumcach Esq and Susanna his wife. Well beloved in her country as being always a hospitable and charitable matron, she died March 1649 in the xx year of her age leaving behind her 2 sons and 4 daughters namely George, Richard, Mary, Elizabeth, Susanna and Henrietta Maria. Repaired by Sir Bellingham Graham Bart 1783
The Estate of Norton Conyers was purchased from the crown in 1593 by Sir Richard Musgrave and it was passed via this couples marriage to the Grahams. The Graham family still live at Norton Conyers (Alabaster and marble)
