Church of St Peter, West Buckland Devon replaced an ancient cruciform building
It retains its three stage 15c tower containing 6 bells which was restored when the rest was rebuilt & refurbished between 1860-3 by R D Gould to seat 200 worshippers
Sadly during this restoration the "ornate and interesting" screen was removed and not replaced, and in 1880, its then remaining fragments were incorporated in the screen of Swimbridge church flic.kr/p/a2Aqni
