"In memory of Jane the wife of Christopher Thursby of Bocking in the country of Essex Esquire. She died the 10th day of October 1631 & lyeth behind her 2 sonnes William & Nevill"

"Here lies she dead, that yet does live cause she dying, life did give. Her virtuous life prepared a way for the peace of her last day. And her devotion at her death opened Heaven with her breath. Thither was she making haste when she prayed and lived her last, leaving behind the world to shame the glory of a spotlesse name surviving thus in Heaven and Earth both in herself and in her birth".

2. Nevill died abroad without heirs
