Anne's Scroll = "Blessed are they that dye in the Lord for they rest from their labours"
John;s scroll = "Christ mihi et in vita et in mort lucrum" - (With Christ I in life & death profit).
"Here under also lyeth the body of Anne Cremer, the wife of John Cremer before deceased, who dyed the ...... daye of ......... An Dm of the age of ...... years, Laid me down & sleep and rose up agayne for the Lord sustained me " Psalm 3:5
"Si quis praeteriens rogitabit forte viator
Memoriae cujus hic lapis est positus
Cremerus verae cultor pietatis, alumnus
Virtutis, vindex, conditur hoc tumulo"

Under the children is inscribed :
"The children of thy servants shall continue and their seed shall stand fast in thy sight" Psalm 102:28
John was churchwarden here and there is an inscription in the south aisle "John Cremer and Thomas Banyard, church wardens weare ye townmen of Snettisham. Thys ille did repair Anno Do 1595".
