By the first wife he had issue one daughter, and by the second 9 sons and 5 daughters. Osbert died 28 day of the month of July Ano Domini 1580 aged 73"

He was the 4th of 6 generations of Moundefords of Feltwell, a junior branch of the Moundefords of Hockwold, which began with his great grandfather Adam de Mundeford 1463 . 2nd son of Osbert Moundeford of Hockwold ex 1460 who married Esselina ....... possibly the heiress of Feltwell.
He was the grandson of Osbert Moundeford 1479 (The brasses of Adam 1463 & Osbert 1479 and their wives once at the entrance to the chancel, have sadly been lost)
He m1 Margaret daughter of John heir of Sir Roger Townsend
