On Thomas's death the manor passed to Emma. In 1600 she married Sir Henry Blomer of Hatherop as his second wife who conveyed the manor c1609 to Thomas's son and heir Thomas Estcourt of Lasborough, who had been knighted in 1607. Sir Thomas died in 1624 while returning from parliament in which he had represented the county. The manor passed to his widow Mary but was disputed by his nephew and heir Thomas Estcourt, to whom Mary eventually surrendered in 1644- Shipton Moyne Gloucestershire
