On Thomas's death the manor passed to Emma.
In 1600 she m2 (2nd wife) Sir Henry Blomer of Hatherop who conveyed the manor c1609 to Thomas's son and heir Thomas Estcourt of Lasborough, who had been knighted in 1607. Sir Thomas died in 1624 while returning from parliament in which he had represented the county. The manor passed to his widow Mary Savage but was disputed by his nephew and heir Thomas Estcourt son of Edmund, to whom Mary eventually surrendered it in 1644
